This weeks guest Sean Callaghan.

Seán Callahan was raised on a farm outside of Louisville, Kentucky. He attended the University of Kentucky where he studied Journalism, specialising in foreign correspondence. In 1999 he left Kentucky and moved to Cork, Ireland where he lived for 8 years. He currently resides in Tralee, Co. Kerry.

Seán’s poetry draws from his upbringing in rural Kentucky, his life in Ireland and is heavily influenced by the power of landscape and personal mythology. He has been published by the U.S. National Library of Poetry and is currently the featured poet in The Gallery of The Desert Moon Review website. He has recently published his first chapbook, Lore.

This weeks guest poet is Harry Zevenbergen.

Harry Zevenbergen is the city poet of Den Haag. In his work, political satire, sharp observation, a heartfelt tear and hilaric absurdism are alternated. In the past ten years Harry has delivered about 800 performances, including over 100 performances in Belgium, England, Ireland and Scotland. His work has been published in several anthologies, magazines, newspapers and in 2004 his first major collection Punk in Rhenen was published. In September 2007 the Nepalese/Indian magazine Pratik published an anthology of contemporary Dutch poetry, edited by Harry, with the support of the Dutch Translation fund.
As a poet Harry works both solo, as a duo with fellow poet Diann van Faassen and also in the poetry pop-group D.O.M., a group that combines multi-vocal poetry performance with pop, folk and electromusic. In 2003 D.O.M. produced the Wintergarden (Nijmegen) City. City is the story of a big city, with a series of poems forming one story. On stage the performance is supported by a film. City was to be seen on several major festivals in the Netherlands. In April 2007 Harry was officially announced as the first official City poet of Den Haag.

This weeks guest poet is Frank Dullaghan.

Born in Dundalk, Ireland, obtained BA in Economics from UCD
· Has worked in finance and compliance in the UK. Currently CFO of Libertas Capital in Dubai. Previously, Head of Compliance, Europe with Lehman Brothers
· MA (Distinction) in Creative Writing from University of Glamorgan, Wales
· Editor with Seam poetry journal (http://www.seampoetry.co.uk/) from 2000 and sole editor 2003-2006.
· One of the founders and main organizers of the Essex Poetry Festival and the Young Essex Poet of the Year competition until 2006 (when moved to Dubai)
· Member of the British Haiku Society and published in two important anthologies The Iron Book of British Haiku (Iron Press) and The New Haiku (Snapshots Press). Haiku collection At the Opened Door published by Hub Editions 2001. Haiku translated into French, German, Dutch and Croatian for various anthologies.
· Widely published in quality journals and poetry magazines, including in: Ireland – Poetry Ireland Review, The Honest Ulsterman, the Shop; UK – Poetry Review, London Magazine, Poetry London, Poetry Wales, The New Welsh Review, Reactions, The Dark Horse (Scotland/US); US – Nimrod; Australia – Quadrant.
· Poetry also published in various anthologies, including First Pressings (Faber & Faber) and Teaching the Chicken to Swim (Seren Press) and on-line including, The Guardian, BBC and, Nth Position (on-line mag).
