This weeks guest poet is Maureen Gallagher.
Maureen Gallagher was born in Monaghan, and now lives in Galway City.
Her poetry has appeared in magazines and journals in Ireland, Britain, The United States, Canada, France and New Zealand. Her work has been anthologized in Van Gogh’s Ear, Divas, Anthology 1, and others. She’s had poetry reviews and criticism published in Poetry Ireland Review, Chapman, The Cork Literary Review, Staple, The Galway Advertiser and Ropes.
She is an accomplished performer of her work and has read at many events in Dublin and Galway, including at Cúirt International Festival. Her work has been broadcast on RTE.
This is her first published collection.
