White House Poetry Revival
Wed 17th Oct 2007 9.30pm
Launch of Issue 5 of Revival Poetry Journal plus a reading by guest poet Keith Armstrong.

The White HousePoets launch Issue five of REVIVAL Poetry Journal next Wed 17th Oct at the White House as part of Cuisle -Limerick City International Poetry Festival. The launch will be performed by the Mayor of Limerick Cllr. Ger Fahy at 9.30pm.
Copies will be available on the night PRICE: €7.00

Submissions are now being accepted for Issue 6 to be published in Jan. 2008. Deadline for submissions is the 30th November 2007.


Keith Armstrong was born in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne, where he has worked as a community development worker, poet, librarian and publisher, he is coordinator of the Northern Voices creative writing and community publishing project which specialises in recording the experiences of people in the North East of England.
He has organised several community arts festivals in the region and many literary events featuring the likes YevgeYevtushenko,Ian McMillan, Sean O'Brien, Attila the Stockbroker, Brendan Cleary, Adrian Mitchell, Julia Darling, Jackie Kay, and Benjamin Zephaniah. He was founder of Ostrich poetry magazine, Poetry North East, Tyneside Writers' Workshop, Tyneside Poets, East Durham Writers' Workshop, Tyneside Trade Unionists for Socialist Arts, Tyneside Street Press and the Strong Words and Durham Voices community publishing series.
