White House Poetry Revival

This weeks guests are Australian poets Earl Livings and Ray Liversidge.

Earl Livings has had poetry and fiction published in journals and anthologies around Australia and also in Britain, Canada, the USA, and Germany. He is the current editor of Divan (www.bhtafe.edu.au/divan), Australia’s first all-Australian online poetry journal. His first book of poetry, Further than Night (Bystander Press), was published in 2000. Earl has recently completed a PhD in Creative Writing and is working on his next collection of poetry

Ray Liversidge is an Australian poet. His first book of poetry, Obeying the Call, appeared in 2003. His verse novel The Barrier Range, which draws on the expeditions of early Australian explorers Burke and Wills, and Charles Sturt, was published in 2006. Ray has his own website at www.poetray.com.au. He is currently working on a manuscript on the work and lives of dead poets.
