Desmond O'Grady International Poetry Celebration continues for month of August.

Barney Sheehan, the man behind the inaugural Desmond O'Grady International Poetry Celebration held in Limerick last weekend has announced that due to the success of last weeks open-mic events he has arranged a series of new open-mic events in various venues throughout Limerick City and County for poets to read their work during the month of August.

Mr. Sheehan was delighted with the number of visitors who specially visited Limerick for the Poetry Celebration and is hopeful that the local tourist authorities take note and join him next year in using the event to bring even more visitors into the Mid-West.
