Limerick Author Launches New Book
Limerick poet and novelist Evelyn Cosgrave, has just had her first novel published by Penguin Ireland. The book, Desperately Seeking, is being launched next Monday, 11 February at 8pm in O'Mahony's bookshop, O'Connell St, Limerick. All Welcome.

I have long been a fan of Evelyn Cosgraves as she was a teacher of mine in Secondary School. Therefore seeing her name in print was my complusion to purchase and read her first book. Admittedly not my usual read, I spent a dreary Sunday engrossed and found the read to be an entirely new experience. Being from Limerick I knew well the atmosphere and setting. Her many references to the City has painted it in a realistic and bright light. Funny, exaggerated, real, entertaining, modern, saddening and much more besides. I look forward to her next offering and wish Evelyn, aka Mrs Cosgrave the very best.
