Plus A Reading by poet Paul O Mahony.

Paul O'Mahony is from Limerick. Born 1950, he left home in 1968 and journeyed to Dublin, London, Bath before moving to Cork in 2005. Under familial, Jesuitical, atheistic and tangenital influences, he became a poet in June 1995. His poetical heroes are Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Wilfred Owen & Evan Boland. He's travelled in search of his voice, and written over 2,000 poems in 11 years, a sliver of which have been published. He set up the "Dandy Lion Poets" and "Dandelion Poets" who performed at festivals in south-west England and Cornwall. He is new to Ireland, an uncomfortable stranger returned. This evening is part of his re-induction to Munster. This is the first reading of his new collection called "A Voice from the Shadows".

As usual the reading is preceded by an open mic session in which anyone who wishes to read is invited to do so. Complementary finger food is provided and proceeding commence at 9.00 pm.
